how do i switch from auto transmission to manual

manual transmission is it possible the game knows i have the g25 steering wheel why cant i use my shifter

When I bought my game the first thing I tried to do was to use manual shift... So contacted online support... They confirmed that this game doesn't have manual shifting. I'm waiting the day they release an update with manual shifting, but I think this is not happening...
