I have this problem too, but do you also need Xbox Live Gold only for connecting the EA servers?

Yes you need bother the Xbox Gold Package and an EA Origin account.
Also,this must be your own payed copy not someone else's copy of the game.
You can't share other peoples accounts.
Ahh, that's a shame... But I didn't meant copy liveries from others accounts, but I thought there was a livery shop, where you can install liveries from other people.
I'm sorry to ask you once again, but because of I can't connect with the EA-servers, means that I can't receive any shipments, can't make any photos ánd can't do any challenges. Is that normal, do you really need Xbox Live Gold for these?
