I have "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" on disk, but I have an issue with LAN...

I have Need for Speed: Most Wanted on disk, but to play on a LAN server with my dad (in the same house on a different computer) it seems that I must have two disks - when attempted to open without a disk it denies access.

Basically, Is there a way to connect through LAN without needing multiple disks?

I believe the game is the 2005 version.
