I have won the race with MCLaren MP4-12c.But when I try to find him on the map,he does not appear.(I have to take him down)Usually they spawn as a black arrow can't find him at all pls help!

If u don't succeed to take down "most wanted" (after you beat him in a race)  , because   he escapes you  (disappear) ,then just drive around a little and in a minute he will  drive by (this will be repeated until you successfully crash him, so ,no worry  :D )      

+++ you can't see Most Wanted on a map (like you see him in a race)  , until he passes you ,so don't search for him ,cause he will find you :D :D :D

I have already won this race four different times on my PS3, in the hopes that this car will actually be released into Fairhaven
to have a chance to finally take it down. (EasyDrive does not ever show that I have even won the race, even though the cars

line up each time for the 'takedown to own' cut scene.) No problems with taking down any of the other top ten 'Most Wanted'

cars so far, including #5 the Porsche 918 Spyder Concept?

same problem whit  McLaren . I've got Xbox . Any Solution??

It's just like shutting down cars in Burnout Paradise: you just have to drive around until they show up. Keep your ears open too so you can hear them from behind.

No, this does in fact appear to be a bug with the McLaren.  If you don't take him down by the time he takes the second left hand turn, he disappears from the map entirely.  He does NOT appear on the larger map, he does not return.  He's just gone.  In fact, you can see him disappear if you follow him slowly.  The car is in front of you, but the black arrow icon used to show a Most Wanted car that needs to be taken down is gone.  You can even collide with the McClaren over and over and you will never actually take him down.

I'm using the PC version and have tried this race half a dozen times, beating the McLaren every time.  I've got every other Most Wanted car available to me.  But the McLaren is impossible to get.

I just wanted to let you know that the McLaren is in fact bugged.  After you beat him in the Most Wanted race, if you follow him around the second turn, he will simply vanish from the mini map.  The car will still be there, and you can crash into him all you want, but he cannot be taken down.  He will never again appear on the map.

I think this behavior started after one of the DLCs was installed.  Strangely, it appears to be happening on other platforms as well.  I am using PC.

I have this same bug. Even when i chase him after the race he doesn't have that black arrow, and the EasyDrive still says that Most Wanted 6 still is unbeaten.

I'm in the same boat in XBox360... I've got no purchased DLC installed.. haven't played this game for several months, but got back into it, and started working my way through the most wanted list... got to the McLaren, and got stuck.

Anyone from EA/Criterion taking notice here?
