@NotoriousPoutine The core problem here is that the cops are WAY too OP when you are starting to accumulate money, i.e. early game, while they appear to be too easy when you max out your cars. This is not the way it should be. In 2005, we had a perfect system in which the cops are never too hard to be unreasonable, while they are always very challanging and make your hands sweat.

As long as the rewards are worth the challenge, bring on the challenge, but if its just challenging for challenge sake....no thanks.

I love challenge, and god I love to stress to escape! I do agree that there is a little balance that could be worked on to make it a tiny bit less crazy. Not for the sake of making it easier, but for making it look like you can actually escape in a normal way.
I wish that executing a couple epic turns with perfect line, and driving at 200mph without crashing for a straight 45 seconds would be ways to escape. Right now I kinda feel it is a bit random, and most of the time, at 200mph, there is a police 3 meters in front of you, glued there, no ways to really « pit manuver » the cops, or any legit way to make them crash in something as they are literally rubberbanding all over the place.
Not bashing btw, love the game, just feel like the concept of the game is MAJESTIC, but that the pursuit mechanic is a bit messy. Happy that it is hard, but it is a little too messy/random.
