"Make a name" mission not working

Product: Need for Speed Heat
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Summarize your bug I just started the game, finished the "test drive" mission and now Anna is waiting at the gas station to start the "make a name" mission. When I arrive there, I don't see the popup to start the mission. Drove around the gas station, nothing happens. Finished the 2 races and tried again, nothing happens...
What car were you using? Ford Mustang (unchanged)
Was the car your own build or downloaded from the in-game community? Community Build
What was the last event you played? test drive mission
Was it a day or a night event? Day Event
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? start a new game and play until the "make a name" mission
What happens when the bug occurs? nothing, menu is not showing
What do you expect to see? the menu to start the mission

    Having the same problem 1 year after release. Playing on PC Steam version.

    I was able to work around the issue by exiting to the lobby then re-entering the campaign mode. When I drove back there the option to start the mission appeared.
