8 years agoMultiplayer Free-Roam
I am posting this as both a request to Ghost Games, and a warning to the potential buyers of NFS Payback. Multiplayer free roam is a core element of what made NFS 2015 fun, and what people enjoyed...
See, yesterday @MrB34rdy posted a link to an article writen on help.ea weeks ago that said this:
" Multiplayer
Hit the streets and race to win. Take on challengers from all around the world as you compete to be the best.
Compete in Speedlists, which are free events against friends, or challenge other players in Free Roam. There are two types of Speedlists:
This was a real confirmation of multiplayer freeroam in the game.
Some minutes ago, I entered this same link, and realized that it had been edited!
Look at what it says now:
" Multiplayer

Conclusion: THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE MULTIPLAYER FREEROAM. EA promised it on that post and now realizing they have made a mistake, edited it as fast as they could.
DISSAPOINTED.
Exactly Ghost said that they have to develop a whole new client or something for Payback because some people were complaining about free roam in NFS 2015 "Always Online fucntion" NFS 2015 was meant to be multiplayer and singleplayer all in one, so for Payback they didn't add it to the game 'cause of this. Now they added it back in step by step seperate so you can choose playing singleplayer OR multiplayer and as I see the free roam is growing up.
They need to get out of multi-player thought and think more like MMOR like in world where when you go online there are more than 8 players on in a session, it can be done , for example in world of tanks they had over 190,000 players on in a single server. This is where I would like to see it. Like in NFSW you would see players all over the place, crews hanging out and players mingling, checking out each others rides.
