I've just bought NFS Payback and Heat with linked Steam account - after launch from steam the EA launcher says "You don't have access. This title may have been downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game. Log in to a different account or restart the app to try again."
Restarting the apps and cleaning caches didn't help.
I don't see the games in my EA library
Whenever trying to launch NFS Payback and NFS It says preparing game then proceeds to say that I don't have access to it as if I don't own it. The image below is the exact error im getting has anyone else had this issue? if so does anyone know a fix? I already un linked then re linked my steam account to try and fix the issue but nothing so far has worked.
This has also happened with NFS Heat and NFS Unbound the only NFS game that has worked is NFS Most Wanted.
I have exactly the same issue with my purchase through Steam.
I've looked online and found that this error is happening everywhere and is due to EA Launcher issues. The Support desk told me it's a known issue but provided ZERO help and ZERO time-lines for when this would be fixed.
Bottom line I refunded via Steam and will not be purchasing any EA games... get your launcher in order EA!!! this is not acceptable!
