The player in ^this topic reported that he only needed to turn off the Origin In-game & the problem was solved! 🙂

One thing to try to solve the stuttering issue is to disable Origin In-game as this is a well known cause of stuttering in many games.

To disable Origin In-Game, follow these steps:

    1. Open your Origin Client
    2. Click "Origin" in the left corner, and click "Application Settings"
    3. Click "Origin In Game" on the left side of the window
    4. Un-check the box next to "Enable Origin In Game"
    5. Boom...Done

Dear GOD, this game is horrendously laggy today. Sometimes it runs flawlessly but at the moment it's unplayable. A friend and I are playing at the same time and it's beyond a joke. No other racing or games that are far more demanding behave this way. We're convinced this is server side lag, which makes sense.

I'd suggest this is patched ASAP or you make some serious network optimisations or upgrades otherwise you're going to lose customers and it'll be another game that dies.

Such a shame as we've enjoyed it, for the most part.

PS - Disabling the horrid obimnation that is Origin doesn't help much, neither does tweaking virtual memory in Windows.

I have to say the same. Today was the worse Stutter-Lag I have experienced so far! I logged off after 5 minutes. What did you guys do? Downgrade the Servers? Game was so smooth at the start of last week. I'm even tempted to start a vote for a Rollback to the previous patch. The game is a nightmare right now!!!!

I went back and looked at the logs of the days on which you reported the lag but I can't find any server interruptions. What I can confirm to you is that we did not downgrade the servers since launch.

Since the game has been out for a while now on PC I am actually more surprised if you were to experience more lag than before as the servers aren't as busy as of current.

Lastly, should the issue persists than I will still leave our connection troubleshooting articles here for you and any other users to refer to if necessary. Note: not stating that this was an issue on your end.
