Need for speed 2016 stuttering alot

I recently installed the trial of nfs 2016 for PC (origin) and the game turned out to be amazing, so i bought the game after playing the trial! and the game ran in the starting well, but however since 2,3 days the game is totally UNPLAYABLE! like heck! The game ran fine in the trial but a little bit of stuttering and falling through the map bug was also there in the trial but it was really not annoying me because it happened only once in 5,6 hours, thats why i thought to buy the game seeing the bugs still the game is amazing so i thought meh whatever lets buy it. But the game has become totally unplayable. I searched through EA answer and alot of forums and fixed the problem by disabling origin in game then the game worked fine for like only 2,3 hours again the bug was there then i started digging further and found EA_TOM post about the bugs and stutter

here's what i have tried so far:

1:Defragmented the partition in which NFS was firstly installed.

then after reading its an hdd problem i moved the NFS folder to another hdd which is a new hdd and i know pretty damn well that it works great in heavy texture loading games such as GTA V etc because its a new hdd, bought it a week ago.

2: Moved nfs to a better drive, still same problem. HUGE stuttering

3: Reinstalled my gpu drivers and cleaned with DDU also.

4: Checked my internet connection its working properly with 5,10ms pings and 1500kbps download speed

5: Tried running NFS in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

6: Deleted every software such as Fraps, Teamviewer, MSI Afterburner etc

Specs: Xeon W3530 2.8ghz

Ram: 6GB of ECC RAM 1066Mhz

Gpu: AMD Gigabyte R7 260X  2GB GDDR5

Now please dont tell me that my PC is slow, If my PC is slow then i would have not gotten stable solid 60fps on 720p high settings on the first place it even meets the systerm requirements for 720p officially! I tried lowering down everything i even tried 1024x768 resolution and everything the game was giving damn solid 60fps, but when the stuttering comes the game goes down to 20fps and then when the stutters disappears the game gets to 60fps solid for like 5,6mins. There isn't a single problem with my system, all the other games are working flawlessly! And yes NFS is using 99% of my gpu. So no problems there. The main problem is in the game it self. I can't even bear the fact that EA released this game with such bugs. To break the things down, I even tried this game on a friend's PC which have an i7 6700k, 32gb of ram and a R9 390X! Like heck! Even on 720p on his pc still the game was stuttering and having falling through the map problem!

So far i have lost my hope for this game and now i regret purchasing it. EA is aware of this issue and haven't released a patch for this yet. I have seen people with 4k capable pc having the same stutter issue and falling through the map. I have totally lost the pride of saying that EA is the best game developer after playing the game as its an AAA title from  EA.

Really hoping someone can shed some light on this issue.

P.S: The only last thing i can imagine is that this game has a problem with AMD gpu's, as my friend also have a R9 390x which is also amd, and i have seen people with AMD gpu's having issues. However AMD released some hotfix to patch the problems with this game, i dont know know whats causing these stutters.

Okay good news! I found a solution atleast its a permanent solution for me, it was the internet connection i guess, i dont know how it was a problem because my connection seemed fine, anyways here's the solution:

i selected the "Play Alone" option from the game privacy settings and game worked like damn charm! Super smooth! I am running it on 900p Ultra everything except shadows are low and with TAA also! In comparison with my 260X a slow gpu. the NFS's graphic optimization is really good and i gotta admit that i am enjoying the game and now i feel like it was worth it to buy the game, as the game is running pretty well on a fairly low end gpu, I get 45fps avg, 28fps lowest, 60fps highest!

The main culprit for the stuttering was the internet i guess because playing alone minimizes the internet consumption.

Game is working flawlessly! Thanks for helping! Cheers,

P.S: You might wanna enter this solution in the main thread of bugs, also the falling through the map bug minimized alot! It only happened once in like 3 days, which is very fair.

    Hi,

Your GPU is actually a bit below the minimum specs required for this game. This means that while you can still run the game, I cannot guarantee smooth gameplay. That is sadly not something that I can troubleshoot further.

The only thing that I can recommend (thought you've tried this up to a certain extend) is to turn off all background programs and to turn your in-game graphical settings to low. You can try turning off your programs via a clean boot.

Note that I won't be able to comment on your friends computer. If he is experiencing issues then have him create a separate post so I can have a look at that as well.

Thank you for your reply sir,

Yes i knew that you would mention about the specs but i already mentioned that in the post if my GPU was weak then i would not get 60fps solid even on 1080p sometimes on lowest settings on the first place, still the gameplay works fine solid 60fps, untill the stutters occur.

And yes i tried clean boot didn't work.

but thanks again for your reply, i will be upgrading my gpu in a week with a R9 270x or a Gtx 960 these both gpu's are great for this game, i will see how things will turn out, untill now I don't think its a hardware fault.

    Hi,

Specific issues such as stuttering are hard for me to pinpoint from a forum so for that reason I would have to go by some of the specs that you posted.

I actually run the game on a 270x at the moment myself and my system cannot handle higher graphical settings in-game. I would therefore definitely recommend to upgrade to something better like a 960, or, the AMD 470 and 480 are also out now--this will give you a huge performance upgrade for around the same price as a 960.

    @IMDASPEEDHUNTER

Glad to hear that you figured out the cause on your system!

I will also add your findings to our main troubleshooting sticky as I don't think that many players are aware how much of a performance impact online gameplay can have on a system.

    Have a nice weekend,
