As this is apparently the only route whereby I can effectively communicate with EA, here goes.

Having upgraded from PS4 to PS5, I find that an update for Need for Speed ‘Heat’ which is fine on PS4 causes the game to stutter and stop constantly on my PS5; making it totally unplayable. The person I chatted to today tried to be helpful by suggesting numerous ‘fixes’ and ‘workarounds for this issue. All of these options DO NOT work, because the update that persists in trying to install BREAKS THE GAME ON PS5!

Yes, I can reinstall the game offline and keep deleting the persistent attempt of the ‘update’ installation, but this is so annoying and completely unnecessary given that this is so obviously an issue that the developers at EA games could easily address and resolve and I find it particularly annoying that they will not do this. Could this be because the game does not provide them with any income from DLC’s? How sad that they treat customers so shabbily?
