Personally I think, the complaints are being swept under the rug, and ignored until they go away; good luck with that.
The Crew 2 developers tried it and look where their game is now, almost completely abandoned by the players. World of Speed did it, game was shutdown. Forza Horizon 4 developers do it, only difference is that they actively delete negative feedback to make their game 'look good', all the while slowly losing players vs losing players in buckets.
You'd think that developers would 'get the message' by now.

Comparing racing games to racing games, Forza Horizon 4 seems to be doing better than other racing games. They just released The Eliminator, which is the battle royale for racing games.
This game mode can be played up to 72 players. And a game session with 72 players is a lot of people competing against each other.
A game that's dead can't ever release a game mode that can be played with 50+ people, such as The Crew 2.
- 6 years ago@TheRealJony FH4 is lost,PG doesnt know what makes Horizon special in the first place(or how much things they've copied from older games)Battle Royale mode is a wrong move.Racing games shouldn't try to be a shooting game or some other stuff.Let alone the DLC cars of FH4,which are full of recycled models from older games like FM4/FH1.Horizon's gameplay is fixed ever since FH2.And without any real difference in gameplay(Battle Royale isn't for Racing games so no)A series can fall from the top real soon
- 6 years ago@GK3512 yeah i gotta agree with that, a battle royale mode just sounds stupid.

I have so many cars that I'm no longer excited to try one out. The multiplayer is wayyyyy better than NFS Heat though.
