need for speed heat black screen
i just got the game today and whenever i launch the game a black screen would appear but i can hear the audio but cant see the screen

First, make sure your display is connected to your GPU and not the motherboard video output.
Additional troubleshooting steps:
- Download and install all available Windows Updates
- Turn off the EA app overlay via the three bar menu at top left, Settings, Application, In-game overlay
- Clear the EA app cache: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
- In the EA app, click on the game and then Manage, Repair
- Run System File Checker to help ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
