Need for speed heat is not saving my career progress, always starting from 0. can anyone help me ?

Yeah I have the same problem as you and a bunch of other people.
I checked the save game file folder and there's no evidence of any save game data in there whatsoever. I even tried copying the folder and moving it with my other News for Speed games in my Documents folder but that didn't work either. I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled and that was a no go...
Nvidia GeForce Experience's game optimization doesn't even see any save data so that you can optimize the game with your graphics card. It still says, open up game or change setting to enable optimization.
So I guess we just have to wait for EA to fix this problem. Hope it doesn't take longer than a week
@Death_kong Do you have windows 10? And if so is the ransomware protection enabled?
Lol sorry I should have read all the replies first. Yeah I have it enabled.
For some reason the new windows antivirus update seems to be blocking pretty much everything I have installed. I've gone and white listed a few things already. I'll go and do the following 3 programs that were suggested and report back.
- @Wl2ECKLESS I did what you recommended. I white listed those 3 programs and disabled ransomware protection and it WORKED! Although is it necessary to whitelist touchup.exe?
- @Death_kong It was for me yes, it's some component of NFS Heat however I was able to re-enable ransomware protection after white listing those apps although you can also just leave it disabled if you prefer.
