Need for speed heat is not saving my career progress

Me too, I contacted EA and they said that its a known issue and they need patch to fix it, and when they do we would get something for the inconvenience.

Yeh seems most common on PS4 

I'm getting this same problem too on PC. Tried solo and online mode, beat the intro picked different cars and both times it won't load my save ☹️

Can anyone who havent got this fixed by turning off windows defender ransom ware try to play in complete offline mode? Meaning set origin to offline. That will stop the game trying to sync with online cloud storage and only use the local save file. 

also if you use any other anti virus please put the game and settings folders in exclusion list

I had this thought at well and tried turning off Origin cloud saving, but that didnt change anything. I literally have save files and my custom wrap (that I spent half an hour editing... cough cough) in the relevant folders in my documents but the game doesn't load them. When I get home tonight I will try turning off cloud saves, and then closing/reopening Origin to see if that does anything.

I don't use any anti virus other than Windows Defender (which has controlled folder access completely OFF, unless I need to turn it ON and add exclusions, that would be dumb). I have Malwarebytes installed but that is the free version and doesn't monitor files. Currently my documents folder library is under Dropbox, so it's not in the default Windows location. However this shouldn't matter since the game created all the save file structure successfully anyway, and all my other games do the same thing.

Same it wont work and hasn't worked yet. 

This is really weird but I tried that fix... switching the HDR in the file to 0? Yeah...restarted my PC and then it's now working with saves... wth

I played in offline mode and the instant I reconnected to online it took everything away.  Character reset, no money, no parts, started me with the Nissan but kept my level.  So I'm stuck with a low level car and nothing but over 200 car rank races to try and earn money from.  I don't run a cloud save cause many other launchers and games tend to have this issue.  Some how this game figured out how to mess that up.  I even got my brothers to buy this game and now I'm scared to play with them cause I don't want us all to lose our saves after putting in long hours. 

Are you all still having the same problem because I am and I played last night and got to level 15 the I got on today and was a 0 again. I thought the update yesterday fixed it but I guess not. I seems like they dont give a *, I mean the game has been out for more than a week now.
