Hi Barry,
It seems in theory that I should be able to get this game to work. Am I just out of luck with getting this game to work on the machine where I want to play this game? Did I just get back into racing games and waste $20? I'm not a happy camper, Barry.
Hello Barry,
I seem to be having the same issue. However, my game ran fine on Windows 10 up until a few weeks ago. When I try to start it now I get the same error.
Caipheus, were you able to resolve your issues?
Kind Regards,

Interestingly enough, re-installing the game resolved the issue. There must have been something corrupted that Origin did not detect during the check I asked it to do.

When upgrading from a previous operating system, if you locate a game after reinstalling Origin, it can still have problems related to the underlying system files changing I think. None of my Steam games had this issue. Thanks for your help and good research.
Edit: I reinstalled the game but the problem remains. When I try to set the steering axis, or any button, it immediately sets to the LS (up / down arrows) button and I cannot set anything. It did not do this under Windows 7. I'm going to try other methods and will report.
