Need For Speed Most wanted 2012 patch 2 needs

my question is about the second patch thats coming to PC for the latest NFS game which is most wanted a cretirion game, will there be a removal for the FPS (frames per second) cap? its capped at 60 fps and i want to have a 120 fps while playing the game because i have a 120hz monitor, please remove the cap or make it an option in the config file to have unlimited fps.

my second question is will you have an option to mute some players in the game online, or a full "mute all players"? because there are some people who make annoying sound and we cannot stop that sound unless we either leave the game or shut the whole sound of the game which is anoyiyng, have an option where you can mute a single/multiple players or mute all players, and mute your own mic if possible.

please EA/Cretirion make these fixes/ features available in the next patch, really like your game.

Update1:

So 2 updates came out for NFS MW2 2012, the first update included the DLC content which is in the game now that includes about 10 cars that is there in the game and you see them but cannot drive/use them until you pay the 10$ price to ride them.. ill leave it at that, anyway so you would think they would include one of the fixes for the issue i have and many others have discovered ( and really there isnt that much to discover, they are kind of obvious) but no.. nothing, not even one single issue has been solved.

they released another update shortly after that DLC one and still with no issues being solved.

this just shows you that the game so far is not getting any support and will not have any, if they actually release a patch to fix the known issues later on then you might as well not buy a racing game from EA only after 1 year of its release when you can get it really cheap and you know whats good and whats bad in what you purchase from EA games.

Update2:

well now its known that atleast one of the problems was half fixed the voip problem, discoverd by "nerf1234567890" said: "Actually there is an option to mute individual players in multiplayer. Just go to Easy Play and go down to players and select a player and select mute. You have to do it for each person which can get annoying if you have like 15 people in your speedlist. Actually there is an option to mute individual players in multiplayer. Just go to Easy Play and go down to players and select a player and select mute. You have to do it for each person which can get annoying if you have like 15 people in your speedlist. There needs to be a mute all button.

^Well The Run suffered from the same issue as well.

There ought to be an option to remove V-Sync for those who have computers that can give over 60FPS (not mine for sure), DreamShot implemented, and the cut cars added to the game (Hummer H1 anyone?) There should be more camera views, and the phantom input issue needs to be fixed with steering wheels (I am NOT touching anything, thank you).

On the CPU usage issue, Chameleon (this game and Hot Pursuit's game engine) seems to be single-threaded. I've tried forcing it to use multiple threads, and all that accomplished was causing an infinite loading screen.

  • In a PC patch2 for me two important things need to be tackled:

    • Dropping frame rates on "minimum systems" e.g. graphic card ATI Radeon 4000 series. Still stuck at average 20-30 FPS. Screen resolution doesn't matter, high res / low res has the same LOW frame rate. E.g. have more settings to reduce the complicated "quality graphics" that totally frag-up the "gameplay" the sense of speed isn't there. Seems just a bad port from the console to the PC. Isn't fixed with the patch 1!
    • Improve on Force feedback . fot PS steering wheel, too little sense of understeer / oversteer. Steering wheel doesn't roll back as in real cars. Just add more Force Feedback setting options to configure it personally to the "low setting" (as it is now in the game, feels like little toy cars) and a "high force feedback setting" that you would get when driving a normal car. The least I can ask for is, that the car straightens out when releasing the steering wheel!
    • less important, additional, more options for zoom in / out mini-map, directions show up when already passed the exit, or have more visual cues in direction when using easy drive.

Another cool thing EA should do is put the Ford Focus ST actually in the main game, not just in multiplayer only available after it is unlocked. I'm struggling to unlock it and I really want to drive it.

I'm not sure how you've set up your game but on my machine running Windows 7 the steering is anything but responsive. Been trying to play for 3 weeks and can only stand about 10 mins in the game before turning it off because the input delay with keyboard is so bad! So far thegame has been a waste of time and money in my opinion!

OP, please get your facts straight. The patch you say fixed nothing allowed thousands of us with account flagging issues to actually play this game online. Thousands. It was the best patch I've seen 🙂

    Thanks!

  • This is a hidden, but COMMON problem: Fix the crash when entering ANY MULTIPLAYER GAME (even when creating a friends game), after completing concours (e.g. when totalling up the players speedpoints online), cannot play online AT ALL.
