Need for Speed No limits Hot Wheels event

For the entirety of the hot wheels events about 65.7% of the time when I start a race the loading screen will freeze and only way to fix is to close and restart. When reentering the game I will notice that the ticket used to start those races is gone. I have read the reviews on Google play and it would appear this is not limited to my phone. Is there anything that can be done, with less than 24 hours left in the event or do I just not get to finish?
