So I just have a question about the special series. I know if you finish all 5 days of the event you get the r34 but what happens when you don't finish it in time for those of us who actually work and can't wait 4 hours to get more event tickets? Like do we just get the blue prints or the car just vanishes and we can no longer drive it even though I spent real money just to get extra blue prints to stage up? I mean that's kinda messed up that EA would just not let you have the car after you staged it up once at least they should let you keep the r34 like that. Idk please someone let me know.

If you don't win the final showdown against Garry on time, then Nissan Skyline BNR34 GT-R is "returned" and you get nothing for your efforts. No car. No blueprints. No materials. Nothing. Everything you spent (including real money) on customizing the Nissan Skyline BNR34 GT-R is wasted.

Since this event is obviously designed to suck as much money out of people as possible of course they don't give you * if you don't finish, they want you to buy more and more Gold to be able to finish...

But if the event, like this one, is designed in a way that doesn't give you the necessary parts to upgrade your car enough to participate in the final race, it is just a pay to win ripoff imho.This is not my first event and I played often enough, repeated races to get parts etc., but in the end i was still stuck with a car that needed parts only available for gold to level up enough for the final race.I don't mind spending a reasonable amount of money for a game from time to time, but I really think it should be for speeding things up or cosmetic enhancements, not for being able to experience all the content. That's pay to win in my book and that's evil. I hope this was a one time incident and future events will let you finish without gold, otherwise I think this game will end like all the other games where the devs got too greedy....

You spent real cash to buy blueprints? You could spend a little more to buy tickets when you have time and use them right away to complete the last chapter.

The system (except for Blackridge Spirit, where you can keep your blueprints) is always the same, and yes, no car for you unless you finish all the chapters, period.

On the other hand, there are two more things to say:

1) I must say I really appreciate the new variant, where you can choose your own start - normally the last two days (the most time-consuming) fell on weekend, and sometimes it does collide with RL program. Now we can choose the schedule that suit us most.

2) Even if you do not finish, there are still small rewards for playing, that is, all the materials and SE cash gets converted to normal cash (and items).

Anyway, since you get a full stack of tickets about every 4 hours, I don't think it has to interfere with your work/school/hobby and if you manage to squeeze half an hour here and there you can easily finish any SE, even though the resulting car may not be in the top shape possible if you invested more time and effort. And no one is forced to participate, feel free to skip the event, this one is particularly useless in terms of game progress (mediocre car, no car serie, thus no real benefit except bigger garage content).

well actually i think this will be good car to have if you can get it maxed out, there is a car series where you can earn quite a bit of cash, maxed out its gonna finish somewhere in the region of 790-800pr so if it can be used in the classic sports tourney it'll replace the bnr32 and its looking like it'll have its own tourney, so cant see a reason not to have it

the only event i can think of where you could collect all bps to max out and finish the event without having to spend gold was the lunar new year event for the jaguar f-type, although to get all the bps you had to earn loads of special event credits to open crates, thats what i did

There were no Special Event classic crates during the Lunar New Year special event. Instead, there were red envelopes that costed 50,000 red dragon currency that can easily be gained from racing. The event credits can only be gained from opening the red envelopes.

@jamie_Play sorry but as someone that works from 8-6 thats quite BS!

i get 2 brakes within my working days 1 of them being for 20 minutes and the second one being for 40 minutes. if your telling me that you cant do each race and complete a chapter during that entire day then its not really the games fault!

i play for maybe 5-10 minutes and use all my tickets within that time frame and when the next brake comes around ive pretty much restored all my 5 tickets and repeat the process and when i get home they are restored again and get back at it!

if this was a MMO game i can fully understand the point you are coming from as i would be in the same boat! however its only a mobile game! the races take little to no time at all to do.

hell my dad hes 49 and works from 7AM-9PM getting 2 brakes as well and he still managed to do better than me. granted i had little time left to spare so could not pump all my remaining tickets into getting extra parts for upgrading but i at least got the car!

sorry but this honestly sounds like a complain thread!

its not our fault you cant micro-manage your time within the day! especially when it comes to you wasting money on a event you knew you would not be able to attend regularly and be able to complete!
