Need For Speed Payback on PC worth?

Hi guys i was searching for information and i want to know if there is people to play online on pc. Yes it sounds strange because is a new game but the last one i bought was battlefront 2 and the problem is that a lot of players left the game so my question is ¿It is safe to buy this game? ¿There is people playing on PC? Thanks.

  • i can't compare on what is much and what is dead in terms of players but i try to give you at least a small picture maybe some others can add their opinion too.

there is a good amount of players overoll as far as i've seen, the deadest point i've seen was in night in ranked which shouldn't be a surprise.

at daytime i see mabe 50 players in ranked and maybe 100-150 in casual speedlist, but you have to consider that if you don't switch lobby the whole time you won't see that many people anyways so its difficult to count them.

i also see many people playing more single player then multiplayer and i only see them on records.

and at least for now there are enough players so you might not see the same players twice for a specific time.

also since there is a freeroam added lately i feel like half the players play there instead of speedlists so i won't see them either.

so for now i would say that there are more than enough players and player count wise i would say yes its worth it.

for the game itself you have to make yourself a opinion on what you think if you haven't already, for me personal i enjoy the game most of the time, i even love the speedcard system most players hate, i liked the story i like the graphics i like the gameplay and all that, there are only a few things i dislike.

    - in multiplayer many people just ram into you instead of driving clean, especially in drift and on the first corner on each track, there is a ghostmode missing here, depending on how good you are or not you will have more or less problems with that.

    - especially in town there is some stutter here and there which might bother you.

    - the ranked speedlists are kinda useless cause ever high ranked player will leave the lobby if he's about to lose so climbing will be tough and/or frustrating, but its not only the players fold the system itself is kinda stupid.

if you can live with these things i can recommend it.

What ln5aNeGuY said is pretty much right on....well except when he said that filthy S word . Spee...spee....ugh i cant say it , the 2 of us will have to agree to disagree on that aspect of the game.😃

I still think the game is worth a buy now though . The updates and all have made it closer to just right then it has been.
