ohh noo seems i have paid for another broken non alpha game. these freaking devs and the pressure to release halfhacked games.
No fix here at all.
uninstalled/reinstalled origin.. uninstalled reinstalled the game in question. took my PC oc's back to stock.. no change it still crashes..
Here is what i have had diagnosed as potential issues and they have come out as healthy.
Ryzen 1700 @ 4000 ghz healthy.. same CPU stock.. healthy
16GB ram G.Skill Flair X @ stock and 3200 ghz.. Healthy
MSI tomahawk b350 Healthy.. up-to-date bios.
MULTI brand new SSD's healthy.
nvidia gtx 1080 evga.. healthy. uptodate drivers
brand new corsair 850watt psu hx850i ....+ spare used for a media centre... im going to assume that they are both in a good state but hey perhaps i have x2 Bad psu causing desktop crashes doubtful but ahwell...
Hardware isn't the issue, its the game it has a brainfart every 30 seconds uptoo 5 mins..
I have tried a lot to find the issue and it has added up to over my 1 hour playtime most of it in reloading the game.. and EA are not addressing this *anywhere i have looked at-least* and ive looked alot..
Now.. whats the betting if i take alittle more time and put this on my old intel2600k machine this still happens...
out of a large steamlibary and soso origin this IS the only game that crashes.
I also do alot of rendering on this machine.. never a crash..
PEACE

I have the same issue. The game randomly locks up and I need to hard reboot my computer.
It happens so frequently, I have stopped playing until a patch comes out to fix this.
here is my system:
Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
AMD FX-9590 4.72 GHz (not overclocked)
16 GB DDR3 Ram
nvidia GTX 980 - latest drivers installed (not overclocked)
1000W PSU
SSD for the OS - Win 10
Game is installed on a 1 TB drive with 250 GB free
I've done the following:
1. re-installed
2. played offline
3. changed video cards
4. played at lowest settings
All have resulted in the game crashing after 10 to 20 minutes of play. This is a software problem and not a hardware / end user configuration.
As with Thechancer, this is the only game in my library that crashes (Ghost Recon Wildlands, The Division, The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt all play with no crash to desktop or lock-ups in maxed out settings).
