I suspect it is a codding issue with the software. I suspect EA wanted to get this out to market ASAP and has written code that produces a memory leak, and eventually causes the RAM to lock up.
All we can do it wait for a patch to their buggy software.
Like you, I have ZERO issues with any other software on my computer, and only get this error when I run NFS Payback.
I have lots of issues with their software. Need for speed (cpu crash), FIFA all of them (must delete buttonData.in to play) Titan fall both were crashing but that was due to malwarebytes, SIMS 4 (wont even start after install), etc..
