Unfortunately racing wheels are not supported and on PC platforms the Xbox 360 controller and Keyboard are the only supported input devices for Need for Speed Rivals.
I stll play Shift 2 and Criterions Hot Pursuit.
I doubt Hot Pursuit will be bettered as an online racer.
EA need to take a serious look at the production of those two games and learn from them.
At least Criterion listened and added steering wheel support.
We are now over FOUR MONTHS after initial release and absolutely nothing, Dissapointed is a frikin understatement.

I found a program to unpack to game files, and I can see that the ONLY gamepads the pc version supports are for the xbox360 that you can use on
windows.
Here is a bit from one of the settings from the files. I don't dare put more then this here.

Xenon is commonly used for a revision of xbox360 hardware. Google "xbox360 xenon" to find out more

No this alone does not prove that I am correct on the controller support, but thre is more I am not willing to post here.
