Drivergary - I have just provided an answer to paladin2012 about the different titles he mentioned in his message.
Like I said these different platforms have different purposes and to some players have their preferred platforms such as Twitter for example.
So it's just an additional option you don't have to use it but some players do.
You can also contact a game advisor (via Chat Email...).

The point of this whole discussion is that EA/Ghost really didn't advertise the fact that there was no steering wheel support. This was heralded as the "Next Generation" racing game. I see that steering wheel support is not on top of your "To Do" list, considering all the other problems the game has: Crashing, freezing up, severe frame rate drop, etc. This game is at best a "Beta" release. Look at the amount of posts for older games:

This game was released less than 2 months ago! At this rate you'll have over 28,000 posts by the time the game is one year old! These are COMPLAINTS! We're not doing this because we enjoy posting messages. You've got problems...........By the way, all other games I listed had steering wheel support. You can't tell me that you designed this game from the beginning on without it. This is called the "EA Answer HQ". We're not getting any answers!!!! We shouldn't have to go to Facebook, Twitter or any other social network to get some answers. I know you are only the poor schmuck that is given the thankless job of posting generic BS answers, but I think by now SOMEBODY in the Corporate Ivory Tower could man up and give us some real answers..........don't you think??? Don't you want to keep customers happy???? Don't you want to sell more games to make more money??? LET'S GET SOME ANSWERS PLEASE............NOW!!!!! Thank you.
When I found out that it only supports microsoft xbox 360 controller, I bought it just for the sake of the game only to find out that you cant change the controller setting... What the heck is that ? why just support one controller and not even let change that setting. Thats just insane.. I hate NFS run for that and then nfs mostwante 2012 and hotpursuit worked fine looks like this would be the last NFS I'll ever buy...
Truly shocked they have created a racing game without steeringwheel ability!
The costumer service guy said it will say on the back of the game if it has.
Then I looked at my old NFS Pursuit game that had that ability, if it said so.
It didn't too. So how can one know before buying the game? And you can't rely on the EA customer replies.
I love the game, but they have really ruined my faith in them.
Next time I feel like purchasing a game I have to be suspicious and sweep the internet for this hidden info before I go to the stores? OMG
