Awesome news, i'm pretty sure it's because now they have switched to the Azure Servers of Microsoft... i'll try tomorrow.
but i caouldn't imagine they kept this game on sale with this issue for so long, there is no word for it...

Curious, how do you know EA is using Microsoft servers? Also, unfortunately the game did crash/freeze for a friend of mine yesterday. I'm assuming it's because their isn't enough servers to accommodate the influx of players but hard to say since no one from EA has put any effort into trying to troubleshoot the issue with players through this forum. So for now, it appears that to play 100% crash/freeze free it will have to be done offline only.
