Need for speed rivals how to change the controls

I tried to play Need For Speed Rivals on my PS4 but the controls are garbage. Square for E-Brake is stupid, is there a way to change them? -Phillip

i tried to remap the game controls on my gamepad and the game went mad, i had to set everything back to default setting.
