Need for speed rivals how to change the controls

So naive I was.

Didn't check if Rivals did support racing wheel.

ITs 2014 and we have a new RACING game that does NOT support wheel and pedals??😕mileysurprised:

I am lost for words.... Actually no I am not; I think EA is incredibly arogant. I thinks it is close to cheating their customers.

Well just for information Logitech wheel G25 wheel simy works on PS3:

You can steer with the wheel and the pedal shifter works as L1 and R1 and the two buttons on the wheel works as L2 and R2 but it is not very good to play tht way.. no sence of control. Pedals don't work at all.

We can hope that EA correct this before modders do it for them, and that would probaly ruin the game completely.

In the mean time I surggest that for every review you find of this game add the comment to the review that it does not support wheel and pedals.

I think I have read at leat 10 reviews before bying the game and non mentionend this.

I just watched some reviews and i LOVED the game, so i bought it and  I was happy us f*uk. After download I started the game and was like AHDGWETFBFKEUDGBD what the hell is this **bleep** with controls? And you can't even change them?! I went to PSN network immeadiatly to return the game, to bad you can't for digital games... Now I'am stuck with this piece of **bleep** game wich is unplayable for me... Fu*k u EA!

I'm 45 years old ole school.. I been playing Need for speed for long time somehow this game I cannot assign the the controller the way I want it..Very frustrating.. EA blow this game big time for not allowing us to change the way we like it.. Bummer

Somebody from manager of Rivals can read this topic? Present controls is awfull. 

I have only one arm (left) and I struggle with the x box one remote already and now in nfs rivals I cant  even change the controls.

I just purchased this game, and right away I found out that there are no options to configure the gamepad buttons. It's all hardcoded with a permanent setup.

Using the RT button for throttle is not a good setup, it gives tendinitis real quick, so like the vast majority out there I'd like to move it to A or B or even X. But no.

I see this thread was started in 2013. Now it's 2015.  I'm guessing the developers never saw any need to make the game more userfriendly for gamers that cannot use RT for throttle.

Ask for a refund, guys. That what I did. I called EA support, and they gave me a refund right away without any discussion.

And while we are at it, AT LEAST having option to turn-off controller vibration would be great. * up game.

I know, right. I had trouble getting used to the PC controls, and then switch to Asphalt 8 which uses arrow keys.

I actually think PC controls are easier than PS4.

W/S: Accelerate/Brake

Left Arrow/Right Arrow: Steer Left/Steer Right

Enter: Siren (Cop), Set route in map

Page Up: Start Event, Begin Head to Head (Racer), Browse settings in map

Page Down: Decline Head to Head (Racer), Browse settings in map

Ctrl: E-Brake

H: Horn

Down Arrow: Rear view

C: Camera

Q: Move camera (views right of car)

E: Move camera (views left of car)

Space: Nitro

A: Pursuit Tech 1

D: Pursuit Tech 2

T: Autolog

End: Next song, Filter map

Esc: Map, Settings

Numpad 6: Use Easydrive, Easydrive right

Numpad 8: Easydrive up

Really weird controls. Huh.

BTW, I think you guys should be blaming Ghost Games, because they made the game, and Electronic Arts published it.

Yes you can,  i had the same problem but i changed the controls to my liking.

To change the controls on your PS4 for NFS rivals all you have to do is press the options button, (which will open a full map of the game) then you press the back button, the circle and a menu will open, go to controls and change it E-Brake from square to whatever you want.
