Need for Speed Shift won't launch

Hey guys, been having this issue for the past two days,  Google leads to problems that were solved using old methods and links that no are no longer accessible. When I launch the game I get an error window pop up that says, "The license limit for this product has been reached." and then tells me to go to EA for support. I tried to submit a ticket on EA's website but it just directs me to the forum or to some articles that have nothing to do with the problem I am having.
