Need for Speed: The Run - Not loading/starting

I just purchased Need for Speed the Run through Origin. When I try to launch the game, the loading icon spins for a second but nothing happens. In Task Manager, the name of the program pops up for a second and then closes.

I'm running this on a Razer Blade (2014). I7-4702HQ, 8 gigs ram, GT 870M 3 GDDR5, 512 SSD.

Can you please help?

    Alright we can try a Clean Boot, since I can launch the game  on my system maybe this is caused by a conflict with another program.

    • Running a Clean Boot on your PC or Mac is a troubleshooting process designed to help fix problems that may be pop-up when installing, launching, or accessing online game content. The Clean Boot process disables many background tasks that may be causing interference.

    If you want you can also copy/paste your DxDiag in this thread so we can see if everything is updated on your system.

    I am also having the same problem.  It seems that when the EA App took over, I can no longer run NFS The Run on my PC.  Looks like it is going to load, and then just kicks me back to the EA App and says "Last played today", which is frustrating as I did NOT play today.

    I have the same problem. It worked last week but now nothing happens.

    MY NFS THE RUN IS MISSING AND THEY NO NOTHING ABOUT IT I PAID GOOD MUNNY FOR IT I WANT IT BACK I AM PISST OFF.

    13/11/23 EXACT SAME PROBLEM HERE WORKED WITH ORIGIN BUT DOSENT START WITH EA APP, TRIES TO LOAD FOR A FEW SECONDS BUT JUST CRASHES BEEN TROUGH ALL THE PROVIDED TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS BUT ITS A PROBLEM WITH EA APP ITSELF. I CAN REPLICATE THIS ISSUE ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT GAMING PCS, BOTH MID AND HIGH SPEC.

    Look at the internet by writing clean fix or clean crack you will find some great fixes.

    They closed the servers for this game without telling any one. If you blocked from internet it will work fine.
