Need for Speed: Undercover

there's no choice on the products list, but my problem is with Undercover.

Long time ago i installed it on a PC and a Laptop.  Later i had to reinstall both machines, and now that i want to play it again and re installed Undercover on the same pc that had it before, but the game shows me a message saying that i have reached the limit of computers with the installation and have to purchase another licence...  is there another solution or it's impossible to fix this with the same licence code?

    hi there,

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I have the need for speed undercover for pc (original with official license key).

I try to run the disc, it takes me to the options to put the cd code in, and after that I agree to two terms and conditions, once that's all done it just doesn't want to install...I'm not sure if it is my OS or my drive has failed but I can run and install other games fine... and it did work on windows 7. here are my pc specs below if that is any help.....

    CPU - intel core2quad Q6600 @ 2.4 ghz

    RAM - 3 gig of Kingston HyperX DDR2 1066mhz

    MOBO - EVGA nforce 780i

    GFX - AMD Radeon HD 6570 2 gig ddr5

    HDD - Samsung spinpoint 1TB

    OS - Windows 10

I hope that someone can help me

  • I installed NFS Undercover and for some reason the graphics is bad. It's like the graphics of NFS High stakes. My pc specs are core i7, 2670 QM; 2.2 Ghz, Graphics- NVIDIA Geforce 525M and RAM - 4 GB. I tried setting affinity in task manager process to cpu 0, still it does not work.

Minor issue and work around. I went online and looked at Player Profile, and Undercover reported unable to download player stats. I went to leaderboards, selected friends / all time and looked for a record of one of my runs. Once I found one, I then clicked on a line with my persona on it to view player stats and they downloaded. After this, I was able to go back to the main online menu player profile and it downloaded the stats OK.

I have a multi-boot system (Win XP / Win XP X64 / Win 7 64 bit), and I'm still running Undercover with WIndows XP Pro (32 bit). I have the original dvd-rom install version, and a download for the update to 1.1.18 (this adds challenge series). I just went online to see if the servers were still running when I ran into the player profile issue and figured out the workaround (use view player stats from leaderboard display).

I'm wondering if NFS World personas (drivers) are affecting other games, and possibly was the cause of Undercovers unable to load player stat issue (perhaps choosing a NFS World persona that matched the Undercover persona I use). I was in the beta sessions, and my EA account ended up with numerous personas, many of them with the same name. I had to work with support to carefully remove all the personas from the beta sessions. That still left some NFS World personas with the same names as personas I've used with other games.

I have the same problem with GTX 260 paired with an Athlon 6400+ OC to 3.4 and 4GB of RAM.I have tried everything that i've found on the internet and nothing worked.Even trying to remove or change settings in the source folder didn't work.I hope when i update my configuration,it will work correctly,i feel like if it was all on luck or if there was a problem with specific CPUs.

You can try these changes to save the graphic settings. Please note that you have to edit the registry entries.

So, open the registry editor, to do so,

press the windows + R, then type Regedit and hit enter

In registry editor window, go to the following location

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

Here delete the NFS undercover entry. Once done, try the game again and this time you will be able to save the settings.

    Cheer!!
