NFS Heat stuck at safehouse garage

I am unable to progress after reaching the Safehouse at the beginning of the game. Looks like I need to purchase something but have no funds to do the same but unable to exit the safe house either. Any help would be appreciated. I have reinstalled and tried, deleted progress and tried, still get stuck at this phase no matter how much money I have on the account. I have version 1.06.   Please help !!!
