Sure, I get the below screen, however entering my account details don't actually work. Entering my old Origin username instead of an email works, but then takes me to a screen saying it can't activate the key. I see posts on Reddit/Steam Discussions indicating that creating a new user account on Windows works, which seems to indicate that there is a registry field somewhere that is pointing to the old activation server. For reference, my (first) install of MW2012 is from November 2022 (off a clean OS install), so presumably this is fixed for people who have never installed the game before, but is broken for those who have. I also see people having the issue with NFS Rivals, however it works for me, but I also installed Rivals for the first time ever on Sunday, giving more credence to this theory.
