Nfs network on iPad issue

When I played rivals on my PS3 I downloaded the nfs network app to assist me, now when I try and load the app it's telling me I need to buy and play the game. I've already completed the game, why can't I now access the app?? Thank you in advance

    If you see this message: "No game data detected", it simply means that you have not completed the tutorials in-game.

    Once you have played the cop and the racer tutorial then Need for Speed Network will register your data.
