NFS remastered crash

The game loads up through the intro video but as soon as I hit space bar to continue it crashes. Every time. I did have it working for a while before I re-installed Windows but not once since. All drivers have been updated, Windows updated, no overclocking of CPU/GPU, done all the tips from the forums. Whats going on??
