NFS Rivals on PS4: Vehicle will stop taking inputs...

I post this here, as I'm ONLY having the issue while playing NFS Rivals.  I'll be racing along and all of a sudden the car will lock the steering hard left and the pedal will be floored.  Eventually ...

Just loaded it up after not playing for a while aand now this **bleep**.
