NFS Rivals won't launch. get this error: Invalid License

Hello,  I have windows 10 and trying to launch NFS Rivals in Origin however it wont launch. I get this error: Invalid License. Reason code = Missing DLL: [MSVCP110.dll] Error 0x7E.

Reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ several times and that does not help.

Thanks for your help!

  • Hi @Buzzerbro,

The error message you are getting is indeed referring to Microsoft Visual C++. If you have already reinstalled the program and it is still not working, you are most l likely installing the wrong version. Please see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003 for the different C++ versions you can download. Ideally, you want to be looking at the latest versions of the program such as 2012 and 2013. In some cases you need an older version.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

Thanks for the response.  I was able to get it going in Windows 10 after re-installing the latest Visual Studio.

    Thanks!

  • Can this be corrected/fixed or just get my money back?

If you had looked at the timestamps of the reply you would seen that the posts are from 2015, it is 2023 now so that info are most probable literary out of date. Have you tried the EA Support by phone, email and all other ways? Just takes some hours to find the info on Google also to search for solutions.
