Whenever I try to play Need For Speed The Run on my PS3. I'm stuck on the "Press Start" screen as it is just a frozen image rather than it looking like I'm driving down the road. Whenever I press start it then goes to an infinite loading situation. I checked back 2 days later then it was still loading. Is it the disk?
EA will not help you... I have never encountered this error, yet check for:
1) If your Windows Firewall is kicking in. It might kick in on background with the windows asking if you want to allow the app to use the network. Click OK and the problem should go away
2) If your HDD or SSD are accessible, maybe something is wrong on that front
3) Check if any program interferes - for that try clear booting into Windows (google it for your version, you will stumble upon a guide on the microsoft website).
If after those steps game doesn't launch - raise a support ticket with EA. Don't take your hopes up tho, EA Support never fixed my problem with 3 of their NFS games
Nothing...
It turned out to be the disk being scratched.
