No sound in Need for Speed Most Wanted

Hi everyone,

This is such a pity, after a long wait and countless issues with downloading the game, I stumble into even more issues!

The Issue:

After downloading and installing NFS MW I opened the game and was greeted with the intro video, which had sound.

After-which, I shut down my PC and awoke today to NO SOUND WHATSOEVER in game. However, in any other games and on my desktop, I have sound. 

What I have tried:

- Updated drivers

- Rebooted PC

- Exited and reopened Origin

- Checked for any Origin or game updates

- Checked sound settings in game (7.1 Surround; reverb OFF)

- Checked desktop sound settings (NFS NOT muted; volume at almost full; playback device is correct; sound mixer is correct)

- Unplugged and plugged my headphones back in

- Restarted game

Key Components:

- Razer Kraken 7.1

- Windows 7 64bit

Can anyone give me any pointers or help please?
