Just want to draw EA's attention to this tech article on Eurogamer. Pretty much everyone is having this problem. The performace is completely sub-par and needs to be addressed.
So it's not like nobody has noticed. Please sort it out. We don't buy expensive PC's just for multi million dollar corporations to poorly code games that barely work on them. Sort it out.
Same issue. It's smooth at 60fps which is almost never. It normally runs at around 40 to 50 fps, even on the lowest settings and is a stuttering mess.
And my pc isnt exactly slow. I love the game, just wish it would work.
However, the game is capped at 30fps with vsync? Why?

This makes me want to CRY! Burnout Paradise was such a fabulouse game and ran smooth as glass. This NFS game is not in the same league. EA is ruining Criterion. The game could be good if they fix the performance issues. I don't think they realize just how important that is. The responsive, crisp feel of the game is critical and accounts for at least 50% of the enjoyability of the game. This game, however, feels like a sluggish, stuttering mess.

I ran everything maxed out with a GTX 480 SSC SLI under water as well with a i7 980 Cpu but SLI doesn't work for me either but I got to pkay around 45-60fps I hope they release a patch soon and 3D is awful too...
