Okay, it seems like EA doesn't care one bit about user feedback

All I wanted was the Need for Speed Most Wanted DLCs in sale. I've waited since April 2019 (that's how long the dlcs were on my wishlist) for these DLCs to be in sale, I'm not paying 10 euros for one dlc containing only 5 cars from a game which is 7 years old. I've made three topics on this forum and the only thing you get as an aswer is that they pass it along to the department.

I was hoping this sale would be different but no :

- The base game is in sale (2,49 euros instead of 9,99 euros) :

- The Terminal Velocity dlc is in sale (7,49 euros instead of 14,99 euros) :

https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/need-for-speed/need-for-speed-most-wanted/addon/need-for-speed-most-wanted-terminal-velocity-pack

- The three remaining dlcs are NOT in sale (still 9,99 euros) :

https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/need-for-speed/need-for-speed-most-wanted/addon/need-for-speed-most-wanted-nfs-heroes-pack

https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/need-for-speed/need-for-speed-most-wanted/addon/need-for-speed-most-wanted-ultimate-speed-pack

It's like there is a massive screwup in the sale selection. This is the one of the only games where the base game is in sale but the dlcs aren't. Another example is Need for Speed Payback.

I was planning on spending more money on Origin games (like buying NFS Heat, etc) but now I don't want to spend a single euro on EA games until this is resolved. I will take my business elsewhere until you fix this.

  • Apparently my ranting had some effect. The dlcs are now 22% off. Bought them because I don't think they would be in sale anytime soon after this sale.

  • @driesth I was going to purchase FIFA 17, because at the time the cost through Origin was $18.00. I just checked today to buy it and it's now $26.99. why do these prices on games years old still stay high.....like FIFA's 18 and 19 which are over $40 a piece?

@jimmarshall Welp the old games stay high because in terms of gameplay they are not much different from new ones and single players like me would never buy the new ones if they didn't inflate the old prices (regardless of all the online players switching up). I mean sports games get limited gameplay changes from year to year.

Pre-Scriptum : It seems I can't add answers myself unless I reply to someone.

I checked gg.deals and the last time the DLCs were on sale was either 3 or 4 years ago. Why? It's not like EA is losing money if they sell an old game's DLC for half the price during big sales, they may actually get more money because of people like me who wouldn't buy the DLC of a seven year old game at full price actually buying said DLC.

The Complete DLC pack was on sale a year ago, if I would have known I would have bought it.

Post-Scriptum : Why did the admins moved the thread again to the Need for Speed forum? It has nothing to do with the game itself and everything to do with Origin and EA. I would like to have the thread placed back on the general forum so people can react on it like JimMarshall did.
