Origin friends don't show up in friendslist, everyone in multiplayer is level 1

None of my origin friends show up in the Need for speed the run friendslist which means I can't compete in group objectives.

Also, everyone in multiplayer appears as level 1 with default icon, even though obviously most of them are higher level.

I've tried the following advice from ea game advisors:

-manually uninstall and reinstall origin

-clean pc with Ccleaner

-restart pc with clean boot

-repair the game with origin repair feature

-open up the firewall for origin and need for speed the run

-remove and readd friends

The problem still persists.
