Which means, if you're running under 30 frames, your race times SUFFER, and if you hack the frame rate lock to go 60+ your times stay at the normal speed, meaning you can potentially CHEAT through this design flaw if you can control your vehicle at double speed.
Serious design flaw and big time rookie mistake from Ghost .
So I saw that right. If you do a time trial and have FPS drops you are f*cked. If you do the 60FPS command you cheat...oh man....
@Soforttod:
EA can't force me to upgrade my CPU. It may be not the best on the market but the i7 3770 still belongs to the best. Maybe it is really an optimization problem that the cores after core0 aren't used that much.

-Render.ResolutionScale 1.5
I tried this last night. It does look prettier, but it also forces the framerate up to 60fps when i had it on 2.0, tried using the other command to force it back to 30, no change, the above command line seemed to overrule it. so... it looks good, but runs terrible. back to 30fps hardcore... *sigh*

I do allways play with that command. For me it doesn't force 60 FPS, even at 2.0. My max FPS is still 30 with that.
- Anonymous12 years agoGuys, the only way to get EA to move on this (or at least light a fire under Ghost's @ss) is to hit them where it hurts. Return the game ( garbage) for a refund! Why should we have to put all this effort to get the game to run? What I saw when I had the game was essentially a pre beta build of the port. Where the hell was quality control when they decided the game was ready for release? If we all return the game that will definitely get some attention. If and when they release a finished (or at least playable) port then we can buy it. Until then then I'll keep my hard earned $.

Just played today, with the new Beta NVidia drivers, and the resolution scale set to 1.5, and it certainly seemed like the drops were less severe, but still there. Here's hoping for further improvements
