Police popping

It happened just right now. I was drifting on the racetrack at night, with no police in sight, and as soon as i did hit heat lvl.5, a Police dodge popped right inside the track, and i crashed into him because it was in my drift. As soon as i did leave the track, again, police was popping inside my field of view, and as they were lvl 5 cops, they just kept spawning and crashing into me. The pursuit lasted like 20 seconds as much, because how OP police is too. Are someone looking into this kind of reports or are they just laughing at how broken their police system is?

Also no, the popping isn't a graphics issue. They weren't appearing into the map either, they just appeared like 10 meters of me.

    I just responded to a post about a similar issue. There are some bugs with how the cop system works. I've had cops just randomly appear on top of me and they react like I'm at a higher level heat than I am. It's not often, but it's more likely to happen when I have a high rep amount built up and haven't had a cop chase yet. They just pop up out of nowhere.

    Also I just found this and... well. Yeah things are broken right now. 63 cops

    @prot8to Is it just me, or hasn't this been playtested enough internally? I mean, any blind person can even hear how broken the heat system is.
    I just did two night time drives... the first one I got to level 4 with relative ease. Second time, I almost threw my controller against the wall... not even 3.5 being chased by 7 cops just slamming left and right and in turns, and not even a garage in short distance!!

    I think the problem lies in the high rep and no cop chase started yet, like you said.

    If I take lower tier races and slowly build up rep, the cops stay managable (from 0 to 1 to 2 and finally 3 or 4), but when I do higher tier races (more towards my power level) I jump from 0 to 2 to 4. And they get VERY agressive.

    So the cops don't react accordingly, something is really off.
    Heat level 4 is heat level 4, no matter how fast you go up with the races. Their behaviour should stay the same.

    So yeah, something feels "broken".

    I actually wonder if it's broken or intended this way. Like maybe a higher nightly rep buildup causes a higher heat? It would be nice if they had just said this if that were true. It would definitely explain some things. Yeah I still think there are things broken about the whole system but who knows if rep is directly related to heat. I mean I've had really low rep or no rep for the night and my heat level wouldn't go above 1 no matter how many chases I got in.
