Reference the above game. Can you explain to me how it's fair to players trying to win the special event cars that they can't do so without spending actual cash money?I have worked through the challenges to win the Jaguar on the latest event. I reached the beginning of level 5, the last one and worked out that with 17 races to complete, each race needing one ticket and each ticket renewing in approximately one hour, that's almost 17 hours of playing to complete the last day. And that's if every race was won first time! I certainly don't have that amount of time to waste on a video game.Not everyone can afford to spend money on mobile games, but yours seems to be just one more "pay to win" game. It's disappointing from a company the size of EA.I know my voice is a tiny one in the grand scheme of your money making enterprise but I'd appreciate a response, if it's only to tell me to go away.As you can tell, I feel strongly about this and felt it only right that I gave you my opinion, wanted or not.Regards.Phil Hall.

Most of the events wind up being very doable without spending any gold/hard currency at all. Yes, the final day is 17 races, but you're ignoring that you should have built up your ticket level to max before the day begins (this varies, of course, depending on if you've spent any money and have any VIP level in the game). Say you have a max total of 5, this means you'll be able to run through 5 events, and then over the course of 12 hours (out of the 24 hour period) you'll gradually replenish the tickets needed to complete the event.That said, this event has some other massive difficulty issues that I'll be posting in a different thread that has made it basically impossible to do without spending gold on, and that is a change of pace, and not a good one.

After spending the gold to just skip the final race in the event and spending some time digging through the NFSNL subreddit, it became very clear that this was not just myself that experienced this issue. I am far from the best player of this game in the world, but far from the worst as well. I have been able to complete most events without feeling the need to spend gold on them unless I wanted to accelerate moving the car to a higher stage over the course of the event, rather than waiting for blueprints to come available in replayable races later. This event has been a massive exception, and primarily focused around one area: the final race.If you get the exact right combination of layouts for nitro zones in conjunction with the static ramps, it is theoretically possible to win this event, as can be seen in the linked YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tSbDXjpZBE), however the nitro zones are completely randomly generated on the track, and it is more likely than not that you will not have the right combination of zones near the beginning of the course to allow you to overtake the AI vehicles.The real problem here is that the AI vehicles' behavior does not line up with their listed car PR values. You can see that they accelerate away from the player at the beginning of the race at a rate that far exceeds what they should be capable of doing, even with a perfect launch and immediately activating a nitro boost. Granted you are dealing with acceleration heavy cars like the Ferrari 458 and Lamborghini Murcielago, but even taking that into account, they are clearly operating at an abnormally boosted rate, even worse than the 458 boss race which is also a notably difficult acceleration race.This event was not tuned well, and the final race behavior is exceptionally out of line with where it should have been. Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come for the future of this game, because I greatly enjoy this game overall, but this event made me want to throw my phone out the window in frustration, and that is not a thing that tends to happen for me. I would suggest taking a look at the NFSNL subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/nfsnolimits/) to get input from the rest of the player community as well, because I am clearly just one voice here, but this event was poorly executed, and insulting to your player base.

So if I have a full compliment of tickets available when the last day of an event starts I only need to wait 12 hours to get enough tickets to complete the event? Factor in working for 8 hours, 2 hours travelling to work, having to prepare, eat and clean up after 3 meals, sleep for 8 hours and do things like drink, use the bathroom, shower, shave and general day to day routine things, I'd need a day that's about 32 hours long!I appreciate that you could use gold for ticket replenishment, but I had hardly any gold, no VIP status and no inclination to spend actual cash money on the game. To my mind that, and the fact that you expressed in your other post how unfair the ability of the AI cars is in the final race, plus the layout of the zones on the track makes it nigh on impossible to complete without "paying to win".Then to top it all off, the car is useless to you even if you do manage to dilate time and finish the event.It just strikes me as EA trying to squeeze as much money out of players as they can, and that's not right.

It makes it easy on the eyes. Thank you. Now here is what I thought of the last race of Proving Grounds (Jaguar XE SV Project 8) special event. I'll be lying if I said the last race is actually easy. (I still stand by the two notorious hunter races from Nissan 180SX Type X Fastlane special event as easy races) Since I'm a free player, I'm forced to spend a lot more time playing the game than people that invested real money into the game. So getting stuff from Pro store and upgrading my car wasn't a big issue for me. However, the last race of the special event was incredibly difficult. The AIs cheat. It's blatantly obvious that the AIs are cheating in that race. Whoever says otherwise is either blind as a bat or high as a kite. There is NO friggin way a Ferrari 458 Italia or Lamborghini Diablo SV could accelerate just as quick as a Hyper car like a Ferrari LaFerrari. I had no issues with the requirements to complete the last race. I only had a problem with the cheating AIs. However, the cheating AIs are still beatable. It took me 11 tries (11 tickets), but I managed to win the insanely difficult race. Spent 180 Gold to win that race. It's not impossible, but it's very improbable. So whoever failed to win the Jag, I feel ya.

That's about how much gold I have too. Just play and don't spend any gold for a year. You can earn about 500 gold a month through daily tasks, Car Series and SE's. That's 6000 right there.And yes this SE was designed to force players like me to spend gold on the last race, with rare exception. Gold does not HAVE to cost real cash. I can be earned freely within the game. No one can justifiably say they were forced to spend real cash on this game to get something. It's just all a matter of time.

This was a real eye opener for me.
Shortly after the event started, maybe day two or three, not sure, the device I have been using for quite some time finally crashed once too often. Not related to the event, just a random crash. The device did not survive this particular crash.
Decided I wanted to try to complete the event so bought another device. Imagine that, no more crashes. I finally get to see this game from the point of view of people without constant problems. A downside is the game runs so much faster, I need to learn how to play all over again. The racing was much easier on my old device when I could get it to work.
Which more or less brings me to the Jaguar special event. I had to replay quite a few races during this event. Some of them more than five times. I believe this was due both to the difficulty of the races and my getting used to this new device and the major changes to the game because of it. So spent much more on fuel tickets than expected. Usually 180 gold gets me the fuel tickets I like to complete the event. I think it took around 900 gold this time. Not sure, but a lot.
Now the final race. Lately I haven't been buying blueprints during events, but I decided I wanted this car at stage 6, so bought 25 blueprints. All parts of the car were also at stage 6 except turbo which was at stage 5. PR for the final race was 774. That was at least 70 more than the idiot opponent cars, which were as described above, still rediculously faster. I tried the race twice and for the first and last time ever, spent gold to bypass the race.
Still don't know what to think about all this.

Finished the event, won the car.
Ended up spending quite a bit of gold on extra tickets. Luckily I had over 2000 gold so it was not a problem (still have plenty...).
No doubt the most difficult SE I experienced so far in the game.
SO...
... now I have yet another useless, un-upgradeable car in my garage....
... yet another car I will never use in the game...
(simply because EA do not release enough replays for SE BP's!)
If not for my obsession to get ~~all~~ most of the cars in the game I wouldn't have bothered!

The game gets more and more absurd. You have to intentionally lose races in the first day so you can accumulate money to buy parts from the store. Check.
But SURPRISE! If the store and the events don't drop the parts you specifically need, you will NEVER reach the final PR level so you either spend gold or do what I did and delete the game.

I was on the last day with 30 minutes left on the event and no tickets for the last race.
I really want the car so I skipped it 😃
