PS3 Need for Speed most wanted 2012 start button not working

Hi there, I just bought my son a copy of Need for Speed 2012 Most Wanted for PS3 (like new from Amazon). The disc does not seem to be scratched. I loaded it up on the PS3, but it seems to be stuck ...

Try booting the console with just the regular controller connected and see if you can get past that screen, thanks.

Hi Barry,

As a follow up to my last message, my friend check the game on his system and it did not work either.

I tried also to change the controller number from 7 to 1 in the controller menu, but it did not help.

Any more ideas?
