Yes I know all of this, I know about S.W.A.T and IEM, but they don't talk about backup frequencies, amount of cops, how is the difficulty balanced...
They could put a long cooldown before the pursuit ends and not a big amount of cops for example (like in Rivals at heat 4 or Hot Pursuit), while I prefer a lot of cops waiting for you and some backups on the road.
What I would really like to see (as an extra) is that longer the pursuit is, harder the pursuit is. So cops could deploy different kind of roadblock (e.g S.W.A.T roadblock), send more kind of corvette police cars, send undercover cars cruising after the suspect escape the cops at a high level or something like that. I'd like to be able to get something exclusive in pursuit that would act as a kind of 'pride', and then all the players online (in online mode if there's one) would see some undercover car cruising just because the cops are looking for a specific wanted player.
There would be less traffics then, because cops asked people to stay at their home because of a dangerous pursuit in Fortune Valley (just like in Most Wanted 2005 at heat 4). It'd give more simulation in the game. May be we could see the helico cruising in the sky looking for the escaped player.

The pursuit looks great in the trailer, but it looks in every trailer of any NFS games. So I can't really be sure it'll be until they release a gameplay video in freeroam, or until an they confirm.
I asked them yesterday and today what was the speed of the charger, and if the charger was faster than in NFS'15, but no answer...
May be they hadn't read it, or may be the answer is 'no' and they won't tell it to get more pre-order. May be frostbite 4 engine can't support too much AI cop car because of police light or something like that? I remember on NFS'15 that too much cop (6 cops) were causing my game to lag.
