@JamieK81 - the catch-up from AI is there since NFS Hot Pursuit 2 (2002). And i've seen it in other arcade PC racers, unfortunately. On consoles, too. I think that only Gran Turismo doesn't use such artifices
As for true simulations, well, you can find plenty of PC if you look carefully.
