Re: Game stops and crashes at 'Most Wanted' cutscenes

I went last night and locked the frame rate at 30, I also disabled vsync I was able to do the most wanted race a few times without it crashing. I think my graphics card sucks which is besides the point, in windows I run 1920x1080 on a 22 inch acer screen, I changed the setting in the game back to the default 1280x768 and the game played much better, I went to switch it back to 1920x1080 and noticed a massive framerate drop, changed it back to 1280x768 and it seemed to be alright as of last night, haven't played today yet.

Well that was nice while it lasted it worked a few more times today and now its right back to black screening and crashing as soon as I hit escape to skip the cutscene, which was working. This game sucks, ea can't do anything right can they. Don't think I'll ever be buying another ea game.

I had the EXACT same problem here. I uninstalled the game and right now I'm downloading again. Don't know if it'll work. =/
My game also freezes in the most wanted cars' cutscenes.

After I resaved the config file the cutscene did play, but now the cutscene for cars is getting choppy. I also got kicked out of multiplayer twice today because of this stupid issue. Playing out of no where black screen, and then windows pops up need for speed most wanted has stopped working, pain in the arse. I doubt redownloading it will resolve your issue, didn't aid me in mine I even had origin check to make sure there was no corrupt files, no problems as far as the program is concerned.

I get this also, PC version. exactly at most wanted race cut scenes. havent found any cure yet.

Lately I've been on multiplayer and I can play for a while, then suddenly I get black screened and it crashes. I followed ea's suggestion with updating my graphics driver and that didn't help.
