@Also09
Most of the changes I see people asking for isn't fixing glitches. It's directly making the trophy easier by lowering the requirements and such.
Of all the things you listed, only the game adding extra time would truly be a glitch. Though I'm not sure that's could be fixed because of the always-online nature of the game and latency. Fixing that would be fine, if possible. In the meantime, playing in a solo session seems to alleviate the problem slightly. At its worst I would get less than 0.50 added to my times.
As for the other stuff, that's trying to make the achievement easier just because you don't agree with how it is.
The reason only three or four cars are the best for the golds is because they are literally the best. If it was balanced around inferior cars, everyone would still use the best cars anyway to get that extra boost. The scores would simply be lower as a consequence.
The time for using cars of your choice was in the base game. Prestige is all about maxing your performance with as little compromise as possible. As such, features like tuning and manual which you could've ignored until now are encouraged, though I only ever used manual for drifts. Automatic is fine for races and a much better player than I could probably even make it work for drifts.
But yes, I'd say everyone actively angry about prestige cares about the achievement/trophy. Why else would someone get annoyed by it? It's extra content added for those who push themselves to excel at the game, and we all know that was something the game was missing until this update. It's a selection of 41 events you've already played with no changes besides the score requirements so there's nothing new you're missing out on by not playing it. If you don't want that then you can ignore it, and I'm sure that's what Ghost Games expected people to do when they added it. I don't think there's even as little as a livery or car part as a reward.
Dying in one hit on Uncharted or Call of Duty isn't exactly balanced but it's there for people who want to experience a ridiculous challenge. There are also trophies for both of those things. Not every game mode or trophy should be accessible to everyone even if some may call that unfair.
I will say you should get the achievement or let it go. Excluding the time addition thing, all the other stuff like traffic is just a part of Need for Speed. It's not Forza or GT and you shouldn't expect it to follow the same rules they and other track racers do. In Need for Speed you have to deal with the traffic and other racers and I'm pretty sure it's been that way since the start.
Also, I'm not sure why anyone but Microsoft and video game publishers could've actually been happy about what they had planned. It was the least consumer-friendly set of changes they could've made and it's a wonder that it actually made it out of a meeting room. There was absolutely nothing in blocking used games that benefited us, only them. But I guess it affected more people than not and some weird people were just indifferent.
Edit: I'm not sure about Xbox One but PS4 trophies can't be hacked.
@Zerathel
Most people on this thread are against the trophy. Though that's not because the world's in agreement. It's because it's on a rather empty forum that has been linked to on other sites asking for support. You were only ever going to get other supporters who cared enough to click the link, excluding me.
And to be honest, I'm not even sure this is in the correct forum. Wanting gameplay changes in the DLC isn't really a technical issue, it's feedback.
I feel confident saying that at least half of the people who claimed they won't get the next NFS because of this will lose interest when their threats amount to nothing and buy it anyway. It's like this image http://i.imgur.com/MLZ0bMu.png full of supposed MW2 boycotters. It's their only bargaining tool, and likely not as strong as their desire to play the next Need for Speed. It's easy to say you won't play the next one before knowing anything about it.
