I have exactly the same even though I updated my GPU drivers, I checked that everything was updated in windows (even did a "manual" check for Direct X). And I also deinstalled and reinstalled origin and check that there was no available update for NFS....
- My game is crashing during the first loading after start-up. Can anyone help? It is happening since the update.

Lots of people whit problems here.
I starting to thing i want my money back...

I tried to tag EA Games or like a NFS Payback Team with "@" but it didn't work.
It would really be nice to see or problem taken seriously because like as @Speedtta told it, it's annoying to see that you paid for a game, you did took the time to make all possible update on the game, origin or your computer and you can't play: the only thing I can do is see that I did play over 37 hours but can't access the game anymore.
Anyway again to sum up for any developer/IT guy reading this thread:
- GPU is updated
- Windows software is also updated (like Direct X and other stuff)
- the game was updated (the last one was if I recall correctly a like 3-5 Go update) and now when I try to update the game again it's says it's already up todate
- origin is also updated.
I put origin last, because in my case, it's actually the last step I did before getting the black screen problem. I ran the update from NFS and played. And then yesterday I wanted to play, had to make the update of Origin and since then I get the black screen. I tried to uninstall origin and install it from scratch again in case something went wrong with the update, but didn't bring anything. (as well as doing it with the game it self: really annoying since you have to download everything again.)
Please do keep us inform and-or deliver us a new update Origin Team or NFS Payback Team.
Thanks in advance

Hi everyone,
I raised a incident (case 37027886) on help EA and someone is now trying to look into it.
For those of you that do know a little bit their way with computers, look into uninstalling DirectX 11 (i.e. playing in the registry and so on, so please be advise) and for me with my GTX970M I could play the game (as long as I just went in hibernate mode and not turned off my laptop) with DirectX 9.
I did that 3-4 times, and now I'm stuck again with the black screen. Still not an official solution, but a fix, that could help you play a little bit more in the game.
Good luck
I'll keep you posted about the official answer
